Department Modeling

The modeling department supports the development of systems through various modeling and simulation techniques. Models are the basis of development and systematically capture and depict the requirements on a system. This facilitates the advance testing of functionalities and automatic generation of elements of the system’s software. The department provides computer-based modeling techniques, expands them and assists clients with appropriate methods and procedures in their application.

The department’s competences are concentrated in three research units: Technical and Physical Systems Modeling, Planning and Modeling of Technical-Physical Systems, and Software Modeling.
