Introduction of the internet portal GovData at CeBIT 2013

In cooperation with the Department O of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, that is responsible for the administrative refurbishment and organization, Fraunhofer FOKUS has presented the internet data portal for Germany GovData (for now only available in German) within an exhibition tour of the Federal Minister of Interior Dr. Hans-Peter Friedrich on March 5, 2013 at the exhibition booth B50 of IBM at CeBIT 2013.

This portal was developed by Fraunhofer FOKUS on behalf of the BMI and in coordination of the German Federal State Working Group “Open Government”, first published as a prototype on February 19, 2013, and is part of the government program “Networked and Transparent Administration”. It provides a unified, centralized access to administrative data from federal, state and local governments. With this portal open administration data are findable on a central platform without restrictions.
