Abstract

TELKOM Smart City  Leveraging Telco Capabilities to build Smart Cities

Smart city today is a very popular term among municipalities and has a wide understanding in the implementation, but the biggest problem faced by the city government is to determine the priority of implementation and funding limitations. TELKOM Group as state-owned enterprises has a responsibility to help the successful implementation of the smart city with two implementation approaches:
1. Implementation gradually to overcome the problems of the city in accordance with the level of readiness of the city (maturity level)
2. Leveraging Telco Capabilities to build Smart Cities
